Paralegal Biography
Overview
Jacqueline Gorges recently earned her Juris Doctor (JD), graduating with honors from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and she will sit for the bar exam this July. She serves as the firm's senior paralegal and also holds a notary public license in the State of New Jersey.
Jacqueline also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Springfield and a Paralegal Certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is adept across all of the firm's practice areas, including business litigation and real estate, as well as transactional and employment matters. Over the years, she has handled everything from complex litigation to real estate transactions, and her versatility allows her to assist clients with virtually any type of matter. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, and after spending four years in the San Francisco Bay area, Jacqueline moved back to the East Coast to make New Jersey her home.
Career
Jacqueline, or Jackie as she is known around the office, is an indispensable part of the firm. Her analytical abilities and attention to detail are unmatched. While she wears many hats in the office, she excels at everything she does. She is a fierce advocate for the firm's clients and is always at the ready to assist with helping clients in solving complex litigation, business, and real estate issues.
Perhaps nothing speaks to Jackie's character more than how she earned her law degree. She attended law school and graduated Summa Cum Laude while working full-time for the firm and raising her two daughters. Balancing the demands of a rigorous legal education with a full-time career and the responsibilities of motherhood is no small feat, and Jackie did it without ever letting any of those commitments slip. That same discipline, focus, and dedication is exactly what our clients see in the work she does for them every day. With her law degree in hand and the bar exam on the horizon, Jackie brings an even deeper level of legal knowledge to the firm.
